Learning Looks Good
A few months ago I headed to Vegas. It's not what you think...the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) Conference was held there this year. WPPI is all about learning, growing, and networking with artists from all over the world. Because I love my craft, I'm always looking for opportunities to grow and see things differently. I'm also a big fan of community over competition. I love speaking to other artists and seeing their work.
Las Vegas may be known for a lot of things, but we got to have some fun playing with light on the WPPI Photo Walk. This shoot was on the grounds of the Mandalay Bay hotel. It happened to be a very overcast day, so all of the lighting is artificial. We were learning how to use strobe lighting to mimic sunlight. You can never have too many tools in your tool belt. The lovely @misskayperez worked her magic. It was a fun challenge for me to work within these specific parameters and still make the images representative of my artistry and style.
Thank you to @erikvphoto for putting together a wonderful photo walk. Thanks to @wppionline for a super fun convention.
I love creating unique experiences and images, so reach out to me if you are wanting some artistic portraits.
