Coffee, Travel, and Fashion

The great part of being a high school senior portrait photographer is how unique every shoot ends up being. When Dominique and I first got together, we brainstormed an idea that felt like it captured part of the heart of what she loved as a senior in high school. So when she looks back on these images they will immediately speak to her, remind her of who she was, and bring a smile to her face.

We headed over to Starry Night Coffee Shop in Fort Collins. This is a great local cafe that brews up delicious organic coffee from a local roaster. I've often mentioned how much I love the local community of Northern Colorado and look for ways to facilitate connections and community. Dominique played with beautiful make-up and wardrobe styling.

The second shoot we did was a little dreamy - a beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at sunset! With such beautiful surroundings, Dominique was free to just play in front of the camera.

Traveling for your senior portraits is such a great way to really capture your moment. Is there a location you've always loved or have frequently traveled to; that special place that feels like it brings out your best and evokes powerful memories? That's where your photos should be taken. It's not as crazy or as expensive as it sounds. Let's talk about it and who knows what could happen!

There is something magical that happens to us when we are in a new environment, some special freedom. As an avid traveler myself, I'm always happy to travel with my clients to find their unique place. I also have some great suggestions for locations if you know you're looking for something more but might not have an exact spot in mind.

What would you love for your shoot? Reach out to me and let's think of something epic! After all, this moment only happens once!
